Antonina Shevchenko

Antonina Shchenko is an Kyrgyzstani Muay Thy fighter. She competes currently within the UFC Flyweight division. Antonina Shevchenko began her fight sport career with an Muay Thai Kickboxer and debuted in the IFMA World Championship Tournament 2003 Shevchenko took the title and beat Suzane Miller at the end of the tournament by an the unanimous vote. Antonina was able to continue her professional career after winning a silver and bronze medal in 2008 and 2007 respectively, and a gold medal in the year 2011, as well as the year-end 2016 IFMA amateur Muay Thai world champion. Antonia began her professional journey in 2003, and she was the winner of her the WKC K-1 Light Welterweight World Championship in 2012. She also won the Lion Fight Lightweight Championship in 2016 and the WMC and Phoenix FC World Championships in 2016. Antonina was most recently seen battling Isa TIDBLAD Keskikangas in her fight at the Phoenix Fighting Championship. The fight was won by unanimous decision. Antonina Schevchenko began career-long MMA career in 2002, with an impressive win against Anara Baanova in the KFK Cup of Kyrgystan. She took the fight by TKO after round 2 and the subsequent 2 matches were held in WXF X-Impact World Championships. Shevchenko was a dedicated kickboxer after which she took a lengthy absence from MMA. She returned to fight in 2017 and faced Anissa Hasdaoui. Shevchenko defeated Anissa via unanimous decision before prevailing over Valerie Domergue at Phoenix FC 4. She quit the club in 2018 to join Dana White's Contender Series in 2018. Shevchenko wrestled Jaimelene Nievera as part of Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series. Antonina demonstrated her striking prowess by TKOing Nievera by knees. Shevchenko won the unanimous decision, but she lost her second fight to Roxanne Modafferi in an undisputed split decision. Antonina was able to bounce back from the loss, defeating Lucie Pudilova at UFC on ESPN Covington against Lawler through rear-naked-choke submission. The result earned her the bonus of a fight-of-the night. Shevchenko had a 1-2 record over her next three bouts she won over Ariane Lipski, while being defeated by Katlyn Clarkagian and Andrea Lee. Antonina suffered a loss to Casey O'Neill by second-round TKO in the second round of UFC Fight Night Santos Walker.
