Kelly Michelle Stables grew up in St. Louis, Missouri. She performed in The Muny Opera. The University of Missouri Columbia awarded her a BA (with the highest distinction) in Theater and Communication. After moving to Los Angeles Kelly quickly became involved in theatre, performing and choreographing more than two dozen productions. This included The Little Foxes Brady Bunch The Musical Peter Pan in Thousand Oaks Civic Light Opera. As she continued to learn Improvisation in The Groundlings and becoming a Company member of Theatre West Kelly also started finding roles on TV and in film. Kelly's unique voice and small dimensions have let her play a variety of characters. Her name was well-known to the people for her role of the evil Samara alongside Naomi Watts, in The Ring 2. However her most well-known role is as the bright and cheery receptionist in Two and a Half Men. From 2011-2015 Kelly worked as a paralegal in the daytime and a party hopper in the evening as a series Regular on the TV Land comedy The Exes. Kelly also appeared as Alyssa's charming, smart sister in the ABC show Romantically Challenged and as the mother of a stressed suburban family in the CW show No Tomorrow. Her singing soprano has been lent to several animated cartoons, including Doc McStuffins Tom & Jerry Sofia the First. Recently, she was in the role of the slow but charming Cloud 9 employee on NBC's popular comedy Superstore. Her private life is one that is quite quiet, with two children under the age of five. She is a lover of sewing as well as write, and she is an active participant for various school functions.
